Logo Design London

We design logos and visual identity systems for London companies, property developers and start-ups. London is one of the most crowded brand markets in the world – we build identities that stay recognisable in it: clear, flexible and ready for both digital and print. This page explains what you receive, how the process runs, how pricing works and what it is really like to hire a studio that is not around the corner.

Why a distinctive logo matters more in London

In London you rarely compete with two or three local rivals – you compete with every well-funded brand that wants the same customer. A fintech in the City sits next to global banks, a restaurant in Soho opens on a street full of established names, and a developer in Canary Wharf markets against schemes with international budgets. In that environment a generic company logo is not neutral; it quietly tells people you are smaller than you are.

That is why logo design London businesses can rely on starts with positioning rather than decoration: who the brand is for, what it should be remembered for and which visual territory is still free in your category. A Shoreditch start-up, a Mayfair adviser and a Southbank cultural venue need very different answers, and we work them out before anyone opens a design tool. You can see the range of outcomes in our logo collection.

A visual identity system, not just a logo file

A London brand lives across dozens of touchpoints, from the Tube advert to the investor update. So the core deliverable is a logo system rather than a single mark: a primary logo, a horizontal version, a monochrome version for single-colour print and embossing, and responsive variants that shrink cleanly to an app icon or favicon. Every version is drawn from scratch, which keeps the mark original and gives your trade mark adviser something genuinely distinctive to register.

Around the logo we build the rest of the brand identity: a colour palette with print and screen values, typography with licensing notes, grid, iconography and photographic direction. It is all documented in brand guidelines your in-house team or other agencies can follow without asking us, and handed over with editable source files. When a launch needs it, we extend the system into stationery, social media templates, signage and a website – see our branding projects.

Logo design London: our process, step by step

We begin with discovery: a workshop with the people who make decisions, a review of your competitors and a frank conversation about where the business is heading. From that we write a short positioning summary – audience, promise, personality – which becomes the brief. It sounds like paperwork, but it is what lets a board of five people judge creative work against an agreed goal instead of personal taste.

Next we develop two or three distinct creative routes, each shown in context – on a website header, signage, a pitch deck and social media – so your team can judge the mark the way customers will actually see it. You choose one route, we refine it over agreed rounds of feedback, then build the guidelines and prepare the final files. From kick-off to handover the work typically takes about 25 working days (five weeks), and we give you the dates at the start.

How much does logo design cost in London?

As a guide, logo design projects start from £800 (about €950) excluding VAT; a complete visual identity system with brand guidelines is quoted individually. Prices for logo design London studios quote vary enormously, because scope varies enormously, and anyone who quotes before understanding the brief is guessing. What we can promise is how the fee works: after a first call we send a fixed quote in GBP or EUR, agreed up front, with the deliverables and the revision rounds written down. It does not grow because a meeting ran long or another stakeholder joined the project halfway through.

Four things drive the figure: how many creative routes you want to see, whether naming is part of the job, how deep the guidelines need to go, and how many applications – decks, signage, templates, a website – we design alongside the logo. Because we are based in Poland, our running costs are lower than those of a logo design agency paying central London rents and carrying layers of account management, so a comparable senior team typically costs less with us.

Do you need a London-based logo designer?

Let us be clear: G2 Collective is based in Poland, in the EU, and we have no London office. If sitting in the same room every week is essential to you, a local studio is the better choice. For most projects it is not essential. We are one hour ahead of London, so workshops, reviews and sign-offs happen in your normal working day, and a question sent mid-morning is usually answered before lunch.

Collaboration runs through video workshops and shared boards, where your team can comment on work in progress rather than waiting for a big reveal. You get senior designers on every call – the people presenting are the people designing – and decisions are summarised in writing after each session.

Who we are a good fit for in London

We work best with founders and marketing leads who want a considered identity without a big-agency process: technology and fintech companies, professional services firms, hospitality concepts, and property developers and agents launching new schemes. For property clients we can pair the brand with CGI from our 3D rendering for London team, so the name, the logo and the imagery arrive as one coherent launch package.

If you are planning a new brand, a rebrand after a funding round or an identity for a development, book a call. In half an hour we will ask about the business, tell you honestly whether we are the right studio and outline a scope. You will then receive a fixed quote and a timeline within a few days, with no obligation.
