Logo Design New York
We design logos and visual identity systems for New York companies, real estate developers and startups. In a city where every block is a wall of brands, we build marks that are simple enough to be noticed and strong enough to be remembered. Here is what that involves, what you take away at the end, how fees are set and what working with a studio across the Atlantic really looks like.

Positioning for the most competitive market there is
New York rewards brands with a sharp point of view. Finance around Wall Street and Midtown, media and advertising, fashion, technology companies in Flatiron and Brooklyn, hospitality on every corner – each category is crowded with well-funded names, and customers have learned to filter most of them out. A logo here has about a second to work: on a subway ad, in an app store or on a construction fence in Brooklyn.
So before we draw anything, we define your point of view: the audience you are really after, the competitors you will be compared with and the one idea the identity has to communicate at a glance. That positioning becomes the brief for the logo and the test we hold every concept against. That is the difference between logo design New York actually notices and the safe, interchangeable look the city ignores.
What you get: a complete visual identity system
You receive much more than a logo file. The logo system includes a primary mark, a horizontal lockup, a one-color version and responsive variants that stay legible as an app icon, a favicon or a social avatar. Each is drawn as original artwork, which matters when your attorney files for trademark protection: a distinctive mark is easier to register and defend than something assembled from stock shapes or templates.
The brand identity around it covers a color palette with print and digital values, typography, layout grid, icon style and image direction, documented in brand guidelines and delivered with source files. It is a toolkit your marketing team, web developers and print vendors can all use consistently – which is what makes a company feel established from day one. Stationery, social templates, signage and websites can be added; our branding projects show how far a system can stretch.
How much does logo design cost in New York?
As a guide, logo design projects start from $1,100 (about €950) excluding VAT; a complete visual identity system with brand guidelines is quoted individually. Logo design New York agencies sell can cost anywhere from very little to a great deal, which is why the question deserves a straight answer about method as well as a starting price. We quote a fixed fee in USD or EUR before we start. The proposal lists what you will receive, how many rounds of revisions are included and when each stage lands. There is no hourly meter running and no surprise line items at the end.
What moves the fee is scope: the number of creative routes, whether naming is included, the depth of the guidelines and the list of applications, from pitch decks to storefront signage. A European studio is typically more cost-efficient than a comparable Manhattan logo design agency, simply because our overheads in Poland are lower and we do not carry account or sales teams. You pay for senior design time, not for a lobby.
The process, from discovery to handover
Discovery comes first: a working session with your leadership, a competitor review and a look at where the company needs to be in a few years. We condense it into a positioning statement that everyone signs off. Founders sometimes want to skip this step; we advise against it, because it is far cheaper to disagree about words in week one than about a finished logo in week five.
We then present two or three creative directions in real context, so decisions are based on how the brand performs in the wild, not on how a logo looks on a white slide. The chosen route is refined through agreed feedback rounds, then documented in guidelines and packaged for handover. Most identity projects run about 25 working days (five weeks), and we can move straight on to the website, the deck or the campaign afterward.
Should you hire a logo designer who is not in New York?
Here is the plain version. G2 Collective is based in Poland, in the European Union. We have no New York office and no local representative. European design has a reputation for clarity and craft, and working with us gives you that perspective – but you will meet us on screen, not in a conference room. If face-to-face sessions are a requirement, a local studio will serve you better.
In practice the distance works well. Our afternoons overlap with New York mornings, which is when we schedule workshops and presentations, and you wake up to progress every day because we have been working while you slept. Senior designers join every call, shared boards keep work in progress visible, and each meeting ends with written next steps. For teams already used to distributed work, it feels no different from collaborating with a colleague in another office.
Who we are a good fit for in New York
We are a good match for funded startups that need to look credible quickly, professional and financial services firms refreshing a dated identity, hospitality and consumer brands, architecture practices, and real estate developers naming and launching a building. For the last group, we can produce the identity and the imagery together through our 3D rendering for New York service, so the sales materials look like one project, not three vendors.
Want to see whether the fit is right? Take a look at our logo collection, then book a call at a time that suits your morning. We will ask about the business, give you an honest view of what is worth doing now and what can wait, and send a fixed proposal with dates. No pitch theater, no obligation – just a clear next step.
