Logo Design Copenhagen
We design logos and brand identities for Copenhagen companies – from food, design and sustainability brands to tech startups and architecture practices. Thoughtful, understated identities with enough character to be recognized instantly. Below: how we read the city, what you receive, how the work is organized, how we collaborate from Poland and how the fee is determined.

Character within restraint
Copenhagen has a strong visual culture: functional, warm and understated. It shows in the furniture and lighting the city is famous for, in its restaurants and bakeries, in the harbor baths and bicycle bridges, and in the new districts rising at Nordhavn and on Refshaleøen. A company that launches here is judged against that backdrop, by customers who may not talk about design but certainly feel it.
The challenge for a new brand is to fit that culture without becoming invisible in it. Our process starts with positioning – what the company stands for, who it serves and what it should be known for – and an honest review of how competitors look and sound. From there we define where the identity can take a risk: a distinctive typeface, an unexpected color, a symbol with a story. The logo design Copenhagen appreciates is quiet, but never anonymous.
A complete identity system, made to last
We design identities to last, because frequent rebranding is neither sustainable nor good business. The logo system comprises a primary mark, a horizontal version, a monochrome version and small-scale variants for favicons and social profiles. Each is original artwork, which supports trademark registration in Denmark and the EU and means the mark will not turn out to resemble a café three streets away.
You also receive color and typography systems, graphic elements, image direction and brand guidelines, with print specifications that consider materials and production – uncoated papers, limited inks, durable signage. Source files are included. For architecture practices and developers, we add presentation templates, project sheets and 3D visualization in a consistent style, and stationery, packaging, social templates and websites are available too. See our branding projects for complete examples.
How the work is organized
Discovery comes first: a workshop with the founders or partners, a look at the competitive landscape in Denmark and abroad, and a concise positioning text. Danish organizations are typically flat, and we like that – it means the people with real knowledge are in the room. We ask for one person to hold final sign-off, though, so that open discussion still leads to a decision.
Then we design two or three creative routes and present them in context: packaging or menu, website, shopfront, tote bag, presentation. You select one, we refine it over agreed rounds of feedback, write the guidelines and hand over everything in an orderly package. A full identity project usually takes about 25 working days (five weeks) from kick-off to final guidelines, and we schedule around the July holiday period rather than pretend it does not exist.
Do you need a logo designer in Copenhagen itself?
It helps to be honest about geography. G2 Collective is based in Poland, in the same time zone as Copenhagen and about an hour away by plane. We do not have a Danish office. Most of the collaboration happens remotely through video workshops and shared boards, with in-person sessions when they add value – typically a kick-off or a final presentation, not routine meetings.
The team is senior, and the same designers are on every call from the first conversation to the handover. Identical office hours mean questions are answered the same day, and as an EU company we make contracts and invoicing simple. A neighbor's perspective is useful, too: close enough to understand Scandinavian restraint, distant enough not to repeat what every local studio is already doing.
What does logo design cost in Copenhagen?
As a guide, logo design projects start from €950 excluding VAT; a complete visual identity system with brand guidelines is quoted individually. Denmark is an expensive place to run a studio, and the fees for logo design Copenhagen agencies quote reflect it. The method is transparent: the fee is fixed and quoted in EUR or DKK, agreed before work begins, with a written scope, feedback rounds and delivery dates. What you approve is what you pay.
Scope is the variable. More creative routes, a naming assignment, a detailed brand manual rather than a compact guide, and additional applications such as packaging or signage all add design time. Because we work from Poland, our overheads are lower than those of a comparable logo design agency in central Copenhagen, so senior-level identity work is typically more cost-efficient with us – a practical point for startups and small practices watching their runway.
Who we are a good fit for in Copenhagen
We are a natural fit for food and beverage brands, design and interior companies, sustainability-driven ventures, tech startups, and architecture practices and developers who want their own identity to match the quality of their buildings. The shared trait is care: clients who choose materials thoughtfully, write their own copy with attention and expect the same from a design partner.
If that describes you, take a look at our logo collection and book a call. We will talk about the company, the ambitions and the constraints, and send a fixed proposal with a timeline shortly after. If you are simply looking for a logo designer to polish an existing mark, that is a fine project too, and we will scope it honestly. The conversation is free and commits you to nothing.
