Dubai is one of the world's most active off-plan markets: a launch can sell out on renderings, a brochure and a film alone, often to investors who are buying from another country through a broker. That raises the bar for image quality. Does it make sense to hire a rendering studio outside the UAE?

For many developers it does, as long as expectations are clear. G2 Collective is based in Poland, in the EU, and has no office in Dubai; we work with clients in the UAE remotely. The time difference is only two to three hours, which keeps feedback rounds fast during tight launch schedules – most of your working day overlaps with ours, so a comment sent before lunch can usually be discussed the same day.

Drafts are shared via online review links where your marketing team, architect and sales director can comment on the image itself. We sign NDAs on request, which is standard practice before a launch date is public. We are also comfortable fitting into an existing supplier chain – working alongside your architect, your model maker and your media agency – and delivering files to their specifications rather than insisting on our own.

Our process: models in, final images out

The process is simple. You send models and drawings – Revit or other BIM files, SketchUp, CAD plans, material boards and landscape design – together with a short brief on the target buyer and the mood you want. We prepare the 3D scene and propose camera angles, then send clay previews, which are untextured renders used only to agree on composition, building massing and framing before detailed work starts.

Draft renderings follow, with materials, lighting, landscaping and interiors dressed, ready for your comments. Revision rounds are agreed in advance and written into the quote. After approval we produce final high-resolution images, sized for large-format printing where required. As a guide, each view takes about five working days, and the schedule for the full set is confirmed before work begins. Animated walkthroughs take longer because of rendering time, so if a launch date is fixed, tell us early and we will plan backwards from it.

How much does 3D rendering cost in Dubai?

As a guide, exterior renderings start from $370 (about €330) per image and interior renderings from $320 (about €280) per image, excluding VAT; packages and animation are quoted individually. There is no meaningful average, because a single villa interior and a masterplan aerial of an entire community are very different jobs. Our pricing is fixed per image or per package, quoted in USD, AED or EUR and agreed before we start. What moves the price: the number of views, the level of detail, interiors versus exteriors, the amount of landscaping and surrounding context to be modeled, the length of any animation and the urgency of the deadline.

A European studio generally operates with lower overheads than a comparable studio in Dubai, which makes our quotes cost-efficient without any compromise on tools or finish – we use the same professional render engines as large international practices. Ordering a package rather than individual images makes the best use of the budget, since the building model is created once and reused across exteriors, aerials, floor plans, tours and film.
